[/font][li]100 moons - a forest devastates shadeclan and burns it down.[/li][li]70 moons ago - ripper takes over shadeclan and demands galeclan release plots of territory to them.[/li][li]40 moons ago - galeclan left with a minimal amount of territory and kits begin to suffer due to lack of food.[/li][li]15 moons ago - timberclan leader creates new warrior code rule.one hundred moons ago, a devastating fire ripped through the heart of the clans. it burned shadeclan to the ground and the once noble and courageous group of cats became nothing more than a clan of vagabonds without a home. the worst part was neither timberclan nor fogclan lent a paw to help - no assistance, no medical aid, and no words of encouragement as shadeclan desperately tried to heal their badly burned and wounded warriors. the clan almost died off entirely if it weren't for one strong cat: ripper.ripper was a rogue of tortoiseshell coloring who had once, many moons ago (50), been a shadeclan warrior. he was exiled on the decree of starclan after their medicine cat, dewberry, received a mysterious omen in the form of a shredded rat. ripper, who's clan name had been ratscar, was instantly scapegoated as the subject of such a devastating prophecy. on order of tinderstar, the leader at the time, ratscar was immediately exiled and driven as far as the clan could manage. no one hear of him since, until after the fire.and so began the long reign of destructive and cunning leaders for shadeclan. galeclan's leadership fell into the paws of the weakminded after starclan sent a prophecy to all cats warning of their destruction should they abandon a fellow clan. interpreting it as a call to action, galeclan began giving shadeclan more and more sections of their territory until the clan was reduced to half its original territory size. now, the new generation of warriors want their rightful starclan-given land back, and are willing to do what they must in order to retrieve it.timberclan's leader proposed at the last gathering a rule change: erase warrior code rule sixteen and replace it with another: your loyalty is to your clan above all else, even at the cost of the unity and existence of four. this gave permission to any clan to abandon another in need if it interfered with their own survival. at the time, three clans voted it into existence, leaving shadeclan the only group disadvantaged by it.the forest is changing drastically around all four clans and the scent of a looming war hangs heavy in the air. it is only a matter of time before the pressure of survival breaks each clan in half, and as they turn on each other it is unclear if the forest remains a home for four or... less.the plot timeline
